Senior League & Club Record

After breaking the 400m last time around, Ben Hawkes now has the 200m club record coming 1st in 22secs. He also ran a great 400m to come in 1st.

Callum Hanlon took part in the 1500m coming 1st with a SB 4.11.3min. In addition he also competed in pole vault jumping 2.30m to gain a SB and win the B event and long jump with a PB of 5.72m to come 2nd in the B event. Finishing off a busy day with a 3000m PB 9.00.4 to come 2nd, with Paul Andrew 2nd  in the B race.

Coming back after giving birth nine months ago, Shelley Went ran a super 100m in 14.2sec to come 3rd.  Louise Corcoran gained season best in the 100m, 200m and triple jump.  Louise also competed in the long jump to come 3rd.

 

Senior Team at Gloucester

Mary Donaldson, after already throwing a Seasons Best in both javelin and hammer, jumped a respectable long jump to come 1st in the B event.  To finish off her day she ran a 400m to pick up more points.

U17s Cameron Williams-Stein competing in his first senior league was 5th in high jump with a height of 1.65m.  He then went on to gain a pole vault PB of 3.50m to come 2nd and also increasing his club record.  Topping off his day Cameron came 5th in triple jump with tough competition (12.34m)

Starting off the day with hammer, Callum Sinnott threw a fine 21.10m to come 4th.  He then managed a 6.06m long jump coming 3rd and then threw a fine 8.98m in shot to come 2nd before pulling his hamstring and had to sit out the rest of the day.

100m Duo Manjot Atwal  and  Mark Mcaleenan came 5th and 6th retrospectively. Morgan Reeves 200m 5th Seasons Best after having a year out to enjoy his first year of Uni. Alex Ibbs had a strong run in the 800m to come 5th.  Alex then filled in the Triple Jump coming 3rdin B event. Phill Gould ran a fine 1500m to come 2ndafter already running the 3000m Steeple Chase.

Sophie Smales 200m 30.6 SB coming 3rd  & long jump SB 3.72m to gain valuable points with 4th place.  Saffia Del Torre – 800m 2.45.0 5th, 1500m 5th 5.36 and high jump 1.40 to come 3rd.  India Phillips 100 hudles PB 18.1 2nd, 400m hurdles 2nd 74.6s

Throwers

On to the throws specialist with Jim Sinnott gained valuable points.  Jim came 2nd in shot, 4th in discus, 3rd in the hammer and 3rd in javelin

Sophie Hunt, 2nd shot put with a PB of 10.49m, 1cm off English schools, also in the hammer Sophie threw a PB of 37.15m to finish 2nd. Fellow team mate Lauren Ashbourne was 5th in shot putt, 4th in discus and 3rd in javelin.

Coming back from early season injury James McNally gave discus ago for the first time to come 4th and then 5th in javelin.

Officials

A massive thank you to our Field Judges team – Mary Hodges, David Ashbourne, Mark Hunk, Niki Reeves, our Time keeper – Alan Edwards and Track Judge – Graham Thompson, who gained full officials points.
