Corona Virus Update

It seems that 24 hours is a long time in a virus outbreak.

In the light of the today’s government advice that  “Now is the time for everyone to stop non-essential contact with others…’ there will be no more LC&AC coaching sessions until further notice.

At the moment Edmonscote track remains open for individuals to train. Keep an eye on the WDC website to for updates on this.

Weekend Round Up 29/2

Sportshall

Some great lcac performances at county sportshall today. In u15 and u13 Robin, Ella, Esme and Finn all competed for warwickshire. Both girls teams won and are through to national finals. U13 boys just missed out to Birmingham. Well done also to Dexter, Louis and Alistair competing in u11s.

Tejay de Krester took part in the Vitality Big Half knocking 3 minutes off her personal best to cross the line in 2 hours 10. 

Masters Indoor

Two athletes from Leamington C&AC were part of the winning Midlands Masters team at the England Masters Inter Area Match on Sunday. Phil Gould and Nathan Moore were not only selected to run in individual events but also made up half of the Midlands 4x200m relay team. Moore, racing in the 400m, finished fifth in a time of 58:90 whilst Gould was chosen for the 800m event running a seasons best of 2:10:80 to finish 4th. The relay team finished 3rd on the day with an all inclusive time of 1:46:96. The Midlands Masters Team scored a total of 374 points over 91 events to finish top on the day.
