Frequently asked Questions
Is an athletics club too elitist for me?
That is a common misconception about athletics clubs, people think that running or jogging groups are better suited to them. However we have a dedicated team of coaches who are equipped to assess your level and provide you with the correct support and guidance. You will not be asked to do anything you are not able to as a result, but there will be the support to help you improve and maximise your enjoyment. Our wide range of training groups will have members who are at a similar level to you.
What do I need to participate?
For cycling any bike will do, you do not need any specific kit. For running we do recommend that specific running shoes if you have them, but if you are at all unsure, we can advise.
What is the cost?
Cycling membership is £25 plus affiliation where competing, athletics membership is £35 which includes England athletics affiliation and competition licence. Track fees are payable to Warwick DC where attending a track session, but all coaching is including in your membership.
